After facing disastrous result with Lingaa movie superstar Rajinikanth has shifted focus to his next. He will next appear under direction of Pa Ranjith.This is Rajini's 159 th film and the super star is said to be playing a gangster in the film, which will have music by Santosh Narayanan.

As per reports beautiful and talented tamil actress Dhaniskaa who earlier known for her films such as "Aravaan" and "Paradesi" is roped to play superstar Rajinikanth's daughter in the yet-untitled 159th .Dhansikaa was recently signed for the project and her role is said to be very crucial in the movie. The regular shooting of the film will start from September in Malaysia.

Radhika Apte will be seen as Rajini wife in the film. The film, which will be predominantly shot in Malaysia, also features Prakash Raj and Nasser in important roles. To be produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu, the film will be written and directed by Ranjith of Madras and Attakathi fame.
